The Royal Grand Palace Bangkok Thailand, The Emerald Buddha Temple Bangkok & Wat Phra Keaw Temple Sightseeing Tour. Every tourist to Bangkok must see the magnificent buildings within the Royal Grand Palace compound to get a feeling of the grandeur architectural style. Prince Palace Hotel

posted by Shaon on 27 August 2009 at 13:22

My visit to Bangkok was one of the best vacations I had and to top it up the Prince Palace Hotel was just as good. Finding it was little tricky, but I did get there without much hassles. The hotel is huge with several towers and the rooms were quite big too. The room had very good furniture but it did look a little outdated. The facilities in the hotel were good, especially the swimming pool which was most enjoyable. The food was lovely both in the restaurant and beside the swimming pool. Transportation is easily available but it is advisable to be careful with the taxi drivers who are quite deceiving. The location is good too.

Skytrain

posted by DVC_Chris on 7 June 2009 at 03:11

One of my favorite things to do when visiting Bangkok is enjoy their mass transit system, Skytrain. It is an amazing way to see the city, as you are at the same level as all of the buildings, and provides some amazing views of the city. While you cannot get everywhere using it, I still have found it as the best way to see the city.

Baipai Thai Cooking School

posted by DVC_Chris on 2 June 2009 at 03:31

When we were in Bangkok, my wife decided that she wanted to try to learn how to prepare some authentic Thai meals, since we both love Thai cuisine. The hotel concierge directed her to the Baipai Thai Cooking School, where she took a series of quick lessons, and learned how to make some of our favorite dishes from scratch. It was a good investment in both time and money.

Grand Palace

posted by DVC_Chris on 24 May 2009 at 03:17

Bangkok is an amazing city, with a feeling and vibe that is so different than most of the other Asian capitals. When I visited, I really enjoyed seeing the Grand Palace, as both the building itself and the grounds were breathtaking. While different buildings are built using different architectural styles, when taking as a cohesive hole, they all still seem to belong together.
