I'd seen pictures but wasn't prepared for the scale of this temple! Huge reclining Buddha, beautiful grounds, it's the stuff exotic holidays are made for.

Right by where we were staying, this is a gorgeous spot and great for an evening wander to work up an appetite for dinner as much as for seeing the pretty architecture.

IT's just like spepping back into the past when you arrive here, everything seems so timeless like it could have been standing there for thousands of years. Lovely to see all the old buildings, and it made me wish that I could stay and not head back to the bustle of bangkok. Lovely houses and gardens and great art colleciton.

Featuring african and asian animals in beautiful gardens this is a great place to escape the city and enjoy a nice stroll, as well as see some unusual animals plus the old favourites.
