Forbidden City

This is absolutely the number 1 tourist destination in Beijing and you won't be the only person there to see it. If you can ignore the crowds then its an incredible sight. You can't actually go into the buildings in the complex but can peer in through the doors. The cherry blossoms are really beautiful and there are some fairly good souveneir stalls.
