Belfast's Botanical Gardens are a lovely tranquil spot and have a wide variety of plant species. The gardens feature a beautiful and fairly typical Victorian Birdcage style greenhouse.

This is a wonderful park and domed conservatory that is most relaxing and beautiful in the summer months. Bring a picnic and take your time to enjoy it.

One of the important part of Belfast’s Victorian heritage, the Botanic Garden is popular for a meeting place to residents, students & tourists. The park is being supported by the Friends of Botanic Gardens group. They use to meet here on every first Thursday of the month. Admission of new members is always open. The Palm House & the Tropical Ravine are the two important buildings in the garden. It also has a Children’s playground, a bowling green, walking routes, a rose garden and assorted tropical plants, mature trees and flower beds. Events like Garden Gourmet, band recitals, concerts and opera performances are being organized here. Except on Sundays, the Garden remains open for a week days in summer. And in Winter it remains closed for Saturday & Sunday.
