aka Playa de Poniente, this is the better beach in the centre if you ask me. Fewer stones, loads of space and incredible sunsets.

This was our local beach on our recent trip to Benidorm and I was very impressed with it, the sand was lovely and the water so clear. We rarely went anywhere else and every day eagerly hoped to get 'our' spot!

Absolutely huge and lovely beach, kept spotlessly clean. It's really quiet as well which is a bonus, and there is even a wonderful beach library for all your beachy reading needs, how civilised!

About an hour's drive outside Benidorm is this beautiful little nudist beach. It is located between Santa Pola and Guardamar del Segura and has lovely water and great sand. On top of this there are some beautiful pinewoods behind the sand dunes at the back of the beach.

Apparently Cala Finestrat was until very recently completely untouched by tourists but it has undergone massive change in recent years and now even has an ice rink, such is the scale of the tourist takeover! Despite this the beach is still much quieter than in Benidorm and has the same clear, warm water and beautiful sand. So I'd say it's definitely worth checking out.
