The largest church in the city, and a mighty impressive one at that. Partly destroyed by the Allis in WWII it's now back to its intended appearance. The dome is a sight to behold with fabulous mosaics and the organ, pulpit and the crypt are great too.

Berlin Cathedral is one of the largest Protestant Church in Berlin, Germany. It is the most attractive place for the church lovers. It was built from 1894-1905 on the Spree island. It acted as both the main Prussian Protestant church as well as the court church of the ruling Hohenzollerns. The present 98 meters high dome with cross was previously 114 meters high. It was damaged severely during the war. In front of the cathedral there is a garden plaza, the Lustgarten. The cathedral was re-opened on 24th September 1999. It is now designed according to the Schinkel plans with a new fountain in front of it.
