Extraordinary Grandeur! My mother and I loved visiting here, the palace itself was sumptous, particularly the new wing with the state apartments of Frederick the Great! The gardens too were delightful, although it was a little cold to fully appreciate their magnificence, and the Belvedere was a lovely surprise.

We really enjoyed our day at the zoo, the oldest in Germany. The place itself is lovely to look at with lots of quirky old features, and there are loads of pretty rare animals too. And the aquarium, it's simply beautiful, I could have stayed there all day!

This is a wonderfully restored old palace. It was built 300 years ago for Queen Sophie Charlotte. The gardens are extensive and captivating. The interior takes you back to a bygone era.
