A few years ago when I was visiting Boston, a friend of mine wanted to visit the Harvard University Art Museum, and I decided to tag along. They have a very impressive collection of art which is comprised of three different museums, which comprise the entire facility. The collections span Western countries, German art, and Islamic and Asian pieces.

A one of a kind restaurant, located at the Boston harbor, that will blow you away with some tastefully prepared fish dishes. The menu is extensive and covers a lot of international seafood cuisines. The prices are a bit on the expensive side, but the service is very effective and the food is delicious!

This is another large, cosmopolitan art museum with a huge and varied collection. Specializations include Art of Asia, Art of Europe and Art of the Ancient World. Most major artists and periods are well represented. My personal favorite is the spacious Buddhist temple at the end of the hallway housing Japanese art.

I am a big beer aficionado, which is why when I visited the Samuel Adams brewery when I was in Boston last week. It was a very interesting tour and took about 45 minutes where we saw a mock up of the brewing process. Plus, at the end of the tour, you get a free sample of Samuel Adams beer.

Fenway Park is one of the oldest ball parks still seeing major league games, and for the baseball fan, a trip to Boston to see a game is a must at some point in their lives. From the very enthusiastic fans to the feel of the park that permeates baseball and history from every brick. This is a ball park the way it should be, not overly commercialized, and just good baseball. Just don’t wear a Yankee jersey.
