If this one looks familiar to Londoners then you're right, as it was based on Somerset House! The building looks impressive from the outside as well as the inside, which we saw on our guided tour which was informative and interesting. The best bit I learned was that the gold dome wsa painted black during WWII to protect it.

A romanesque church more suited to france than Boston it's a treat to look round, the exterior is really interesting adn the interior is beautiful, particularly the sanctuary, and the stained glass windows are so bright! A lovely peaceful spot to wander around for a bit and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
