Not a bay, but the most desirable area in Boston, inhabited by the wealthy, which makes it a great place to go for some free tourism. The streets are lovley, they were designed to be in the style of Paris and you really feel the influence. And the shops and restaurants are all excellent too. A must-go area, with Copley Square being the jewel in the crown.

Newbury Street is a must for visitors to Boston. First of all, I should let you know that this comment is coming from a non-shopper. And granted that is one of the major highlights of this destination, but believe me that is not ALL this place has to offer. The people-watching is a must-see with a total melting pot of both locals and domestic and foreign tourists alike. However, there’s also ample food and dessert options, plus a few drinking holes too. To me the icing on the cake was the ebullient park that Newbury Street feeds into. Just a perfect place to unwind and take a load off after putting some good mileage on the feet.
