We were staying with friends in Boston last winter and during a particularly heavy snowfall, they took us snow shoeing around the Minute Man national park. We skated along the historic Battle Road for a couple of hours and hardly saw another soul. A really nice experience.

This is a good afternoon out. AS you walk in there's a massive court with loads of balls and lots of different basketball hoops from through the ages. Upstairs, the museum continues with exhibits charting the history of the game and the evolution of the equipment used.

Fenway Park is an absolute must see. Bostonians are baseball obsessed and you can see why when you see the Red Sox in action.

The home of Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park is the oldest stadium in the United States that still hosts professional baseball games, without having been rebuilt over the years. The history associated with Fenway, as well as the culture of the people who inhabit it nightly from April to October, make it a truly wonderful taste of Boston. And on those warm July nights, one can sometimes feel magic in the air.
