This station is as much about arriving as the destination! We just popped in to admire its architecture and I'm not even ashamed to say we went to the MickyD's there as it was the swishest one i've ever seen in my life!

You can clearly see the influences of London's Houses of Parliament here and I have to say it's a fantastic building. I love the huge dome and wish we could have one added to our parliament, much better than Big Ben!!

what a great place to go. I love buildings that were built for more-or-less pure decoration as they are always beautiful and a little mad. This is no exception, with seven towers, plenty of stairways and other fancy additions, plus some pretty spectuacular views.

These are the largest baths in Budapest - absolutely enormous! They are located in a really grand baroque - style building and include a number of indoor and outdoor pools. They are fed by Budapest's hottest spring and frankly, I'd recommend them over the Gellert which is a bit of a tourist trap and a bit grotty. If you have a Budapest Card you get a complete refund of your money if you're in the baths for less than two hours.

The Gellert Baths are located in a really wonderful Secession building in an incredible Oriental inspired art nouveau style. ENtrance to the baths was a wee bit pricey but definitely worth it. There are steam baths and thermal baths of a variety of temperatures. You can also get a massage, although that would have cost quite a bit more.
