Hotel Central Basilica

Budapest is beautiful and so is the Hotel Central Basilica,in which I stayed for 4 wonderful days. The hotel is big with very fine art and the furniture is so attractive. The rooms are fairly large with a luxurious bathroom. Food is delicious. Room service is excellent. The hotel is in the center and I did my shopping easily. Overall a fantastic hotel to stay in.

K+K Hotel Opera

I stayed in the K+K Hotel Opera for about 1 week. The management was fantastic and the room service is excellent. The rooms are so spacious. The hotel furniture and its structure is excellent. Food is so delicious. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. It is located near to center and my shopping became easier. I really enjoyed my trip.

Budvari Siklo

While Budapest has a lot of hills, the best way to get up them is via the Budvari Siklo Funicular. It is very inexpensive and it allows people to enjoy an extremely beautiful panoramic view of the entire city, plus it is a fun method of transportation that is not common at all in the United States, which really enthralled my kids.

Citadel

Citadel is a fortress built by the King Habsburg Austria in the city of Budapest for the purpose of presenting a constant threat to rebellious Hungarians. It is located at the highest point of the city. Its construction was completed in the year 1854. At the time of World War II it acted as a anti-aircraft defender and suffered a lot of damages from bombs. An exhibition of Waxworks & objects of the age, and a photo exhibition titled as "the siege of Budapest" from 1944-1945 are featured in it.

Alabárdos Restaurant

This Restaurant is in a 400 year old gothic building across Matthias Church. Its a small beautiful restaurant which reminds of the Medieval Ages tradition & atmosphere through its beautiful Terrace & Courtyard as well as the room of the Knights. Its has a Open kitchen where one can see what he going to eat & how it is being prepared. Its encourages the communication between kitchen & the guests. Delicious food items are being served here.
