The Musueum of Science and Industry lives in a palatial looking building and has some great exhibits. Despite the name sounding a bit dry, it is actually a great place to take kids, the central hall especially is really good fun, with massive world war II bombers hanging from the ceiling, steam engines and other modern vehicles.

while I went to Chicago this visit we stayed at the Conrad Chicago , the concierge recommended Lucia's to me ... boy!, was I in for a treat. If all u know about Itallian food is pizza then this is the place u need to come and change ur mind, and in one meal know why every one swears by Lucia's and Italian food, Try to book in advance though (thoughtful concierge did this for me) or you may not get dinner. The meal was OUTSTANDING, our server suggested calamari grilled with the marinara sauce then pumpkin ravioli, the antipastiwas superb and we had to end our evening with tiramisu that was soft, delicious heaven. I reccomend this lovely place to all who read

It is a huge fountain in the local park near Lake Michigan. The water show is mesmerizing and beautiful and starts on the hour. It is computer controlled and at night it includes a light display. Young and old will enjoy it!
