Church of St. Anne Shandon

posted by triplecrown on 2 June 2009 at 06:34

This is a beautiful old church built in the early 1700s. It has several wonderful bells in the tower, that you can pay a small fee to ring yourself. It is a great view from the tower.

Kilcrea Abbey

This is an old Abbey/Monastery that still has some of it's original areas intact, although it has lost most of it's roof over time. It gives a great sense of the past. I like that it is off the beaten path and you have to walk a little ways to get there.
