We delved deep into the world of astronomy at this quirky and fantastic place. A series of buildings dedicated to all things astonomical this is a hands-on planetarium with astonishing surprises, like one of the buildings is also a precision sundial!

My mother and I absolutley loved these peaceful gardens and tombs, eash different and with a story to tell. We had a lovely afternoon wandering around discovering interesting things and people watching-the park seems popular with joggers and walkers.

Lodi road just south of the main city bit, we walked enjoying the sights on the way as we couldn't figure out if any buses went close.

This beautiful temple has won architectural awards and it's easy to see why, it's absolutely stunning! i really enjoyed my trip here and made sure to stay til sunset as the locals said it was especially lovely then, and they were right, although i don't think i'd have done it without my boyfriend in tow.

Experience the old delhi, cramped and bustling, by taking a trip to the old main street, packed with markets and food stalls and probably the most hectic place i've been I thrououghly enjoyed it here and ate delicious (and cheap!) food.

One of the weirdest experiences the whole time I was in India- and that's saying something. The Jain temple houses a bird hospital and if you can bring them ten sick birds, they'll give you a pigeon in exchange! Bizarre and fascinating in equal measure.
