Bur Dubai

This was my favourite area in Dubai, because it seems to have some authenticity and history in the streets. Some souks (although not the best ones), the Grand Mosque, the Hindu Temple and the Creek are all well worth a visit or two.

Shisha

I'd never tried smoking a shisha before but went to Dubai with my friends and ended up in a shisha bar and it was actually quite enjoyable. A really sociable atmosphere.

I absolutley love this crazy bit of artwork with the tiny clock stuck in it, like a giant spider decided to wander by and hold a clock for all to see. Magnificent.

Wow, the views from the observation deck on the 124th floor were A-MAZING! It was a bit terrifying being outside at that height but luckily it wasn't too windy! You have to do this!!

Dubai Marina

The ONLY place to be seen in Dubai, and where you're nothing without a huge boat! We went to mingle with the rich and the richer and fell in love with the atmosphere.
