Making the most of the glorious sunshine, my boyfriend and I packed a picnic and spent the afternoon wondering around St Stephen's Green, and oasis of green in Dublin City centre. Within the park there are various walking paths, a lake with ducks and statues/monuments scattered throughout.

My mates and I went to this converted church for afternoon tea here but then it started raining so we stayed for some drinks, which turned into dinner, and more drinks and then some dancing in the club! with so many purposes you can really stay all day or come by whenever you want to soak up some of the graet atmosphere.

with the impressive title of europe's largest urban green space, we decided to take the family off the sightseeing circuit and get some air for the day (well, it rained that day but we did it the next!). We were lucky enough to spot deer which was really exciting for the kids and i loved the wetlands and the ornamental lakes. would definitely recommend taking a picnic and making a day of it with a frisbee thrown in too.

Only in dublin! me and my boyfriend heard about this and had to go. the combination of professional actors performing the works of joyce, wilde etc and the 'craic' of a pub crawl made for a thoroughly entertaining and surprisingly intellectual (well, at the start anyway) evening.

I like to get to know a city by walking aroung, but sometimes get the feeling that i'm missing some important things, so when i arrived in dublin i decided to take the walking tour first of all. it was really informative, a very good length, and really helped me get my bearings for the rest of my holiday, would recommend to anyone.
