Totally drawn in by the name of this cafe situated just inside the Daintree Building, it also has a cute outside courtyard where you can enjoy either a sweet or savoury tart with a glass of wine (or cup of tea!)

Just outside the city in a cute little village (still only a short walk away) the owners of this B&B are warm and friendly and provide a great breakfast.

A little off the beaten track this one, it's a lovely homage to ireland's literary past and well worth seeking out if you're a fan of literature. The collection is intersting and well-put together keeping you engaged as the influence of Dublin in the writing world unfurls.

Probably the least castle-like castle you'll ever see, but then this isn't the original since that one burned down. It's fabulous outside and inside though, with the state apartments being a must-see, particularly if you're a fan of 'Becoming Jane' like me!

Great walking tour, the guide was informative and engaging and the pace was good. I really liked using this as a way to get to know the city and as a base for sightseeing the rest of my stay. Highlights were the medieval bits and of course Trinity College
