I've long been a fan of urban farms and this one is really good. Plenty of animals to see and get close to as well as plants. The kids had a great time too, it's so much better than going to the zoo and it gives them a better idea about the connection between animals and food.

with the impressive title of europe's largest urban green space, we decided to take the family off the sightseeing circuit and get some air for the day (well, it rained that day but we did it the next!). We were lucky enough to spot deer which was really exciting for the kids and i loved the wetlands and the ornamental lakes. would definitely recommend taking a picnic and making a day of it with a frisbee thrown in too.
