Trinity College

We went for a stroll here pretty early on the Sunday morning and it was serene and lovely, I guess students really do sleep in on the weekends!! Next time we go back to Dublin we'll go for a guided tour but this was a pretty good way to see the place.

Millenium Spire

It may be the bane of Dubliners but in reality it has been at the heart of a regeneration of central Dublin and O'Connell street. It's 120 metres high and is an incredibly slender stainless steel needle. At night it looks really nice illuminated.

St Patrick's Cathedral

Truly monumental! You can see relics from the different reincarnations of the cathedral. For the most part though it is a very elegant neo gothic structure.

Trinity College and Library

Trinity must give Cambridge a run for its money as the most beautiful university in the world. It can get quite touristy in the summer months but the library is well worth a visit.
