Great gallery, with some really lovely and reasonably prices pieces. Sadly, with the luggage allowance being what it is I was unable to purchase anything, but next time, maybe.

Art Alley

I was staying with friends in Dublin and they took me to the Malahide area and I was really captivated with the art street here. It's a free space for exhibitions, and the art was pretty top drawer.

Chester Beatty Library

Not just your average library, this has a huge collection dating way back in history with egyptian papyrus and old illustrated qur'ans. The joy doesn't stop with books though as there are lots of other things to see like costumes, artworks and miniatures. A great place to spend a rainy afternoon!

Chester Beatty Library

The Chester Beatty Library is an art museum and library housing a vast collection of manuscripts, paintings, prints and drawings. We popped on one rainy afternoon as admission is free. The highlight for me was the collection of Qu'rans and Egyptian papyrus texts.

St Patrick's Cathedral

Truly monumental! You can see relics from the different reincarnations of the cathedral. For the most part though it is a very elegant neo gothic structure.
