Iconic in dublin, this is a total must-see, we were blown away by how great this Cathedral is. The crypt is so interesting too, definitely worth making the extra effort to go to.

Christ Church Cathedral is located in "medieval" Dublin and is an interesting tourist stop. While Dublin offers a host of interest tourist attractions, a stop at Christ Church Cathedral should definitely be considered. A rather quick stop located near several other attractions (such as the castle), the Cathedral is an interesting stop if only for the fact that it was built around 1030 AD. Full of interesting art, architecture, and sculpture, it offers a nice respite from a full and busy day of sightseeing. It also offers the rather entertaining display of a petrified cat chasing a petrified mouse which were found in the organ. It should be noted, that if you are student, make sure you have your student id, you can get half off admission, which is very helpful if traveling on a budget. In summary, Christ Church Cathedral is not a must see stop if your time in Dublin is limited, but it is a nice addition to one's sightseeing adventure if touring medieval Dublin.
