Jameson Distillery

posted by xzaun on 26 October 2010 at 13:29

If you've already seen the Guiness brewery and need a hair of the dog, or if you're a fanatical whiskey fan, make sure you see the Jameson distillery. The latter was true of me and I enjoyed this tour very much. Though the distillery is no longer in action, it is still very interesting; and if like me you volunteer to spot the difference between Scottish and Irish Whiskey, you'll hardly need the free drink at the end of the tour. The bar here is very attractive too.

Writers Museum

This is a museum to learn more about your favorite figures in literary history. With a writer in the family, this was a must see stop for us. Everyone found something of special interest and it was an enjoyable and educational trip.
