This is perfect if you want a small but prefectly formed slice of culture, as there's not a lot of it but what's there is great. The Yeats room and the landscapes of Ireland was my favourite bit, whilst my sister loved the Baroque Room.

Great gallery, with some really lovely and reasonably prices pieces. Sadly, with the luggage allowance being what it is I was unable to purchase anything, but next time, maybe.

If you are politically nostalgic and would want to see a classic example of a castle built for Irish kings and queens, go to Dublin Castle. A complete collection of memoirs of inaugurations of all the presidents of Ireland are also present in here. No need to worry on your cash because entrance fee is very cheap. Don’t forget to eat before you go in because food is not allowed.
