My boyfriend and I went here and loved it. So much history is wrapped up here and as well it was really fun to try our hand at some of the sports with interactive games (only a slight competitive edge...ahem). Maybe one day we'll ge to go back to the VIP suites to wathc a match, oh it's good to have a dream.

The Book of Kells was written around 800 AD. This manuscript of the gospels is intricately painted and designed. 2 of the 4 Book of Kells are always on display with one page being turned each day to expose another breathtaking page. They do not take reservations, but you do need to purchase tickets which currently cost 9 Euros for adults. There are discount tickets for seniors and students as well as family packages. Plan on waiting from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the time of the year. Once inside it will take you about one hour to enjoy the library.
