Only in dublin! me and my boyfriend heard about this and had to go. the combination of professional actors performing the works of joyce, wilde etc and the 'craic' of a pub crawl made for a thoroughly entertaining and surprisingly intellectual (well, at the start anyway) evening.

One of the things I love most about Ireland is its culture, especially its music and its stories. That is why when I was recently in Dublin, I really enjoyed the night I spent at the Brazen Head, which is the city’s oldest pub. During the time I spent there, the food was good, the beer plentiful, and the entertainment outstanding.

One of my favourite and most memorable spots during my visit to Dublin was the Temple Bar stretch of road. Granted it’s a little on the tourist-y side, but if you explore the small streets off the beaten path, you’ll be sure to find some great pubs with perfectly quaint and just plain ol’ Irish ambience. Pints were slightly on the price-y side, but that just comes with the territory I suppose. It’s not just drinking though which should be done whilst there. You must take at least few moments to sit down and enjoy the river which flows right past you. That along with the people-watching, all the more reason to set aside at least an afternoon or evening along Temple Bar.
