Grafton Street is kind of like the Covent Garden of Dublin and well worth a visit. Most of the shops are department stores now and most of the wares on sale here are probably available in any other city in the UK.This said, its a really pretty street with lots of buskers that give it a great atmosphere. Also look out for the statue of Molly Malone- Dublin's own 'tart with the cart'

One of my favourite and most memorable spots during my visit to Dublin was the Temple Bar stretch of road. Granted it’s a little on the tourist-y side, but if you explore the small streets off the beaten path, you’ll be sure to find some great pubs with perfectly quaint and just plain ol’ Irish ambience. Pints were slightly on the price-y side, but that just comes with the territory I suppose. It’s not just drinking though which should be done whilst there. You must take at least few moments to sit down and enjoy the river which flows right past you. That along with the people-watching, all the more reason to set aside at least an afternoon or evening along Temple Bar.

At the Blarney Woolen Mills you will be able to find every kind of authentic Irish gift there is. Waterford, Belleek China, Irish linens, Irish music, books vintage lace and wool clothing. Just remember that true Aran sweaters are hand knitted, not hand loomed. You will see the difference in prices and in quality if you put the two side by side. There are a few Blarney Woolen Mills stores located thru out Ireland. The Dublin store is across the street from Trinity College and is open 7 days a week.
