Howth

Howth is a little fishing village outside of dublin. You can take a shuttle train there and it's definitely a good place to go if you want to get out of town for a bit. It has succeeses in retaining a lot of that traditional fishing village charm. There's also a castle here, which is still inhabitted and there are some great viewws of the cliffs which front the beach.

Howth Harbour

The whole family took a trip here for the day and we had such fun, walking high up to the top of the cliffs, looking at the views and spotting seals! Throw in a delicious lunch and we returned to our hotel tired and contented.
