Brass Rubbing Centre

I took my two boys to Edinburgh for a long weekend and this was the most popular activity. Wonderful atmospheric location and a great thing for all ages to get stuck into.

Brass Rubbing Centre

This is an unusual way to spend some time surrounded by ancient history. The building dates back to the 1400s and it is fun for all ages, although very young kids will not get as much history out of it.

Brass Rubbing Centre

When we were in Edinburgh, the hotel concierge suggested that we take our children to the Brass Rubbing Centre, as a way to have a bit of fun and enjoy a slightly unique experience. We each spent a couple of pounds and about half an hour doing some of the smaller rubbings. It was a great family bonding experience.
