My favourite spot in Faro, the old town is so lovely. Plenty of art galleries and cafes so you can enjoy a slow pace of life!

St Francis Fountain

I love fountains, especially when it's a little bit hot and you can take your shoes off and jump right on in, so this one was perfect. Loved it!

Praia do Faro

My sister and our families spent a very happy week mostly camped out on this beach, and swimming in the sea. It's lovely, plenty of space and you can let the kids run off and still see them, giving them freedom and you some sense of control!

You can get the airport bus there but with a whole load of you a car is just more practical
