We've always stayed in the Corralejo area and seen this island but not visited it. Finally we took the plunge! It's great, there are birds to see, sharks to spot (we didn't...) and walks to go on. Take lunch if you don't want a scrum at the only kiosk on the island!

A lovely long beach with plenty of space for everyone, waters that area great for windsurfing and swimming and a good dose of peace and quiet. We came here every day when we were on holiday in Tenerife.

Fascinating little house but it really could do with more English info...I speak the language so I could translate for my partner but it's going to be hard to attract more tourists unless this changes.

Lovely sand dunes, perfect for letting the kids run wild all day on, whilst you enjoy the wind shelter of one of the little rocky fortresses the locals have built.

My favourite place on the island as you can really enjoy the authenticity of this, the capital. There are beaches too so you won't be left just walking about the urbanised areas.
