Gelato Mania

The last time we were in Geneva, and wanted a tasty treat for desert after dinner, the concierge at the hotel recommended that we go a few blocks away to Gelato Mania, which, while touristy, has some of the best gelato in Switzerland. They have tons of flavors, and each time we went, there were huge lines, that are well worth the wait.

Settler Chocolates

One of the things that Geneva is most famous for is their decadent chocolates, and after speaking to my hotel concierge, who managed to snag me one of their behind the scenes tours, I visited Settler Chocolates. While there, I tasted the ingredients that make up their chocolates, as well as spend time with their chocolate experts in making some of their specialties.

Kipling Hotel

Here is I want to recommend to everyone who is going to stay in Switzerland and search the fine and unique hotel. You had better to stay in Kipling Hotel, a member of Manotel, a famous hotel group in Geneva. The hotel is furnished in India and orient style. You will feel a other world. The hotel offers free of charge for business center and internet access as well. Try it out.

Flower Clock

The Flower clock of Geneva is world famous. It is a symbol of the Geneva watch industry. It is located at the edge of the Jardin Anglais (English Garden) since 1955. It comprises of over 6500 flowers with new millennium artistic dimensions. The colours of eight concentric circles of the clock vary with seasons and the plants which make up the display. The clock’s seconds hand is the largest in the world with more than 2.5 meters length.

Clarins Spa

During a trip to Geneva, we stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel, and I decided to give my wife a day off, so I took the kids to Lake Geneva, and she spent the day getting pampered at the Clarins Spa, located at our hotel. She loved it, enjoying a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure, and while she wouldn’t let me see the bill, she would go back in a heart beat.
