The Sir William Burrell and his wife Constance, Lady Burrell, gifted his collection of over 9,000 works of art to Glasgow. William Burrell had been a art collector since his teens. He collected the work from all over the world. The medieval art collection is also there. fine collection of works from ancient China, Egypt, Greece and Rome. It is a really good place to see the collection even children should see so that they will know what kind of things where used in last years.
