I was overwhelmed by how much I enjoyed GoMA. It has a large collection of modern art, made accessible to the most un arty among us. With work by Turner Prize winners Grayson Perry, Simon Starling and Douglas Gordon it is unsurprising that it is the second most visited contemporary gallery outside London.

When I was in Glasgow a few years ago, I took the time to visit the Kelvingrove Gallery, and I am really glad that I did, as it was a really enjoyable way to spend a few hours. They have a truly amazing collection of European artists, although it concentrates on British artists.
