Mother India

posted by DVC_Chris on 25 August 2009 at 23:42

The last time I was in Glasgow, I spoke with the concierge at the hotel about where to find the best Indian food in the city, and he directed me to Mother India. They have some of the best curry that I have ever tasted outside of India, and the serving staff was incredibly friendly and helpful as well. For fans of Indian food, it is a must visit while in Glasgow.

Buchanan Hotel

The Buchanan Hotel made for a good choice while looking for a hotel in Glasgow, with it's location and pricing being the major deciding factors. The hotel is located in Buchanan St. which is close to the railway station and all the major attractions in Glasgow. The room was clean but was average sized with just enough furniture that's required in a room. The building is quite old and renovation is completely necessary. The staffs are friendly and efficient at work. The hotel is quite noisy and not so attractive. But when you consider the price you pay for the room and the location of the hotel, it is not so bad afterall.

Glasgow Science Centre

When I am visiting Glasgow with my kids, one of their favorite places to visit is the Glasgow Science Centre. That have tons of fun interactive exhibits that let my kids learn while they are playing without even knowing it. There is also an Imax Theater that is amazing to see as well.

Malmaison Hotel

posted by Shaon on 9 August 2009 at 18:36

My stay at the Malmaison Hotel was rather short but sweet. In the 1 day that I could spend there I found out that the hotel is very good. The room was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable bed. I loved the ambiance of the hotel for it was very unique and peaceful. The buffet breakfast was very good with both the hot menu and the cold menu. The hot menu is something that got me craving for more. The overall service was average as it is difficult to comment about, considering that I stay there only for a single day.

Radisson SAS Hotel

Radisson SAS Hotel is the one of the top hotels in Glasgow. It is very nearer to the m8 Motorway. In this hotel the interior and the furniture is very comfort and lovable. In this hotel we have a nice bar and restaurant, fitness centre. The food in this hotel is very delicious. Also they provide the ironing service to the customers and they provide the public parking for the customers coming to the hotel and free wireless internet facility. And also we have an indoor swimming pool and they provide separate beds for the children depends on their age. It is the nice hotel to go with the family. I enjoyed a lot here with my family.
