So much to learn in here, I never know the history of Goa and it's fascinating and complex! Really nice to be able to feel like you're not just an ignoramus looking for the next party hotspot.

A little gem of a museum in Old Goa, with lovely religious paintings. We almost didn't see it, but it's definitely worth looking out for

I have to say I was expecting a spanish/portuguese style fight, since Goa was once under portuguese rule, but this was much more brutal, with two bulls fighting it out between themselves. Terrifying.

Totally amazing, the most memorable experience of my trip. We rode and fed the elephants, and they are such huge and gentle creatures it was a pelasure to spend some time up close to one. Wonderful.
