What a fascinating museum! It focuses on all the different architectural styles of houses in the region and I found myself looking at the streets with a new eye after the visit here.

I spent a couple of days travelling in Old Goa, checking out all the old buildings, the cathedral, the arch etc. The strangest and most lovely place I saw was the Church of St Cajetan, modelled partly on St. Peters in Rome and therefore also on St. Paul's in London which I can see from my house!! Surreal but awesome, the church is a delight.

wow. what can i say? i looked at my photos from the gorgeous church today and was reminded of its beauty. not the largest of palces, but the detail is amazing and intricacy of the baroque style never fails to captivate me.

The old town of Goa is a fascinating mish mash of Portugese colonial architecture and palatial Indian architecture- a must see.

Old Goa (also known as Goa Velha) is the 'old city' and one of the most culturally rich areas of the city. Old Goa is chalk full of scenic churches, covenants, and some of the most beautiful architecture in the region. It is a UNESCO world heritage site and a must-see for those interested in history, architecture, and old world scenery. Worth seeing is the Museum of Christian Art in addition to all of the historic churches and cathedrals.
