What a gorgeous bay! My boyfriend and I were staying here and learned that the name means lovers beach and you really can see why as it's such a romantic and peaceful place. Perfect for a secluded getaway it feels a million miles away from cramming yourself on the tube!

A lovely relaxing and fairly quiet spot with some great beaches nearby. It all combined to create a lovely holiday.

Such a lovely spot, reputed to be the sunniest on the island and I certainly saw plenty of it! Really clean, lovely water and plenty of sports to try out!!

Playa de Cochino

I guess that you'll find, if you're on Gran Canaria that you'vce got the pick of the beaches. It's hard to find a bad one really and the only negative factor sometimes is that some of them can get quite crowded. We've been to Playa de Cochino a couple of times and can highlky recommend it for soft sand. small waves, warm water and relative under crowding.

We went to gran canaria for a family holiday but this was my favourite place to come and escape! the beach is lovely and long with warm still waters, so relaxing!

las palmas, easy to walk to from anywhere, it's the beach on the west-facing side of the peninsula
