What a fantastic place! I'm quite taken with saltpans and things like that and I adored this museum! So informative and I think the saltpans themselves are just stunning.

Fascinating place, not a large collection, but one that seems perfectly formed. I never knew that there was a group of original inhabitants that the spaniards ousted!!

Gran Canaris isn't just all about the beautiful beaches and all-inclusive resorts there's also wuite a history to the place and at the Museuo Canario you can learn about the island's original inhabitats as well as see some mummies and most excitingly the world's largest collection of Cro-Magnon skulls!

Believed to be where Christopher Columbus stopped over, this is a delightful place, my wife and I really enjoyed the pretty peaceful surroundings and learning about the cross-atlantic relationship between the canaries and the americas. lovely.

Casa Museo de Pérez Galdós

A lovely museum in the former home of the most famous canarian author perez galdos. Just walk around and soak up the atmosphere which comes from the original decor, the little courtyard with his statue and portraits and photographs that add a really personal touch.
