Visitors to Havana, Cuba, will encounter a vibrant and passionate people with a rich cultural heritage. There is no better place to experience this than the Gran Teatro de la Habana, which I always try to visit when in the city, because of the wonderful performing arts such as ballet and opera that are performed here.

National Museum of Beautiful Arts

Havana, Cuba has many great beaches and museums. My favorite when visiting the city is the Museo de Bellas Artes Cuba. By visiting this museum you can really learn a lot about Cuban culture, as the majority of the art work is done by Cuban artists, providing real insight into their soul. There is always something new every time I go.

Bacardi Building

In a city that in many ways seems to be stuck in the 1950’s, the Bacardi Building in Havana Cuba is an incredibly impressive piece of architecture done in the Art Deco style. What used to be the headquarters for the Bacardi Rum company, the building now serves as office space for tourist companies, as well as being the home for a wonderful bar that is a must visit.
