The Peak

The Peak is one of the most popular tourist attraction place in Hong Kong. From the Peak you can look down & have amazing views of the surrounding city skyline, the world famous Victoria Harbour and Kowloon, towering skyscrapers and peaceful green hillsides. Going to the Peak is an memorable trip. The Peak Tram is so steep that the buildings you pass look like they are leaning at a 45 degree angle. It has become Hong Kong’s most striking landmarks. On the Peak there a number of locations which provides magnificient views of the city below.

Big Buddha

posted by ashleyhotmama on 8 July 2009 at 02:26

This is quite a ways from central Hong Kong but it is well worth the trip. Buddhas don't get any bigger than this. It took more than ten years to build. It is made entirely of metal and consists of a steel framework covered by steel and bronze "skin," as well as over one ton of gold amalgam. There are 268 steps to get to the Buddha.

Hong Kong Disney

posted by mollyflogs on 19 March 2009 at 15:27

This is Disney's themepark in Hong Kong. It's got all the magic of Disney, with the added cultural experience of Hong Kong and China. See a new spin on Disney with dragon parades, Chinese fireworks, and familiar Disney Characters. There's even a Cinderella Castle. There are many on-site restaurants, rides, and attractions, including Main St. USA, Fantasy Land, Adventure Land, and Tomorrow Land. It's a great mix of classic Disney expectations and cultural experience. It's a fantastic day spent in Hong Kong.
