Ok, so it's a bit touristy but what's the point of going on holiday if you can't indulge a little? It's a traditional open-air market and sells all sorts of souvenirs as well as some exquisite chinese dress items and silk garments. A great place to pick up something for all the relatives, or just for yourself.

at the far end of the island of stanley, taxis are not cheap but the easiest way to get there, for those who want to use public transport the bus will get you there in the end!

This village is all built on stilts and it's a surreal but great experience. There's plenty to do to make a day of it besides just watching how the locals do things, there's lovely temples and a market which was full of delicous looking and tasting things!

I thought this flea market was going to be an aladdins cave for gifts from the Orient. Sadly I was disappointed as it was mainly electronics stalls selling mobile phones and cables.

Ladies Street hosts a bazaar selling a lot of replica wear and isn't a top attraction by day, but by night it really comes alive with lights and general bustle.
