Portinatx is right on the northern tip of the island and it's so beautiful here, even if you stay in the south you should at least have a day trip this way. Any of the beaches are perfect but I enjoyed the most northern one the best, turquoise waters and white sands abound though so you'll be in for a treat wherever you visit.

Our family really enjoyed it here, the best game was who can find the oldest grave and it was from nearly 3000 years ago! My boys loved the underground parts too although I was a bit scared.

The best night's fun I had wasn't at a big name club but at the sunday night bongo and drumming circle that went all night at benirras beach. Amazing stamina from the drummers and the beats just pulsed through me taking me to holiday heaven.

My boyfriend and I loved it here so much, it was so quiet and isolated and the mud did wonders for my erm sunburnt skin.

Just by Formentera, we got a couple of locals to take us with them after getting the boat from the town.

There's nothing quite like clearing your head with a sea breeze and the ferry from ibiza marina to ibiza port is perfect, lovely views, clear waters, not too long a journey.
