Apparently constructed on 4000 year old graves, the museum is really interesting and I was surprised at the range of artefacts on show! Prehistoric items as well as some external ruins are the oldest bits but it;s certainly all worth seeing, and it's quiet in there too which is great with a hangover.

My boyfriend and I had an interesting afternoon here learning about the history of the island. the old photos were great and really show what impact the modern clubbing holiday has had. The artefacts from the Cullerma caves are great too.

3 Plaça de la Catedral, Dalt Vila, a bit of a walk uphill but think of the alcohol calories!

The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Ibiza offers a variety of art exhibitions year round in the heart of old town Ibiza. The historic building containing the museum is actually a part of the original city walls. They own and display works by Barry Flanagan, Hans Hinterreiter, Erwin Broner and Will Faber. Entry fee is 200 pesetas.
