This is the place to see and be seen! Designer shops, great beachwear, lovely restaurants and plenty of bars make it great for day or night. We always try to stay near here.

This pretty road is lined with trees, and it's easy to find just outside the Alt Vila. The restaurants are generally good and fairly resonably priced, although the party does have to stop at midnight.

This is a complete resort-type hotel, with fine and casual dining, fun-in-the-sun activities, and a concierge that will direct you to the best shopping and tourist attractions in the area. I like this hotel because although it is definitely grand, it is not so elite that you feel uncomfortable. It's fine for families as well as single travelers. And it is very safe for women traveling alone.
