It is the sacred memorial rock of Swamy Vivegananda which is located in the middle of the sea where the bay of bengal, Indian ocean and atlantic ocean joins. Its the very amazing place where you can see the beam of light falling in the mandapam at the rock every october 2nd, the b'day of Vivegananda.the mandapam is similar to the SriRamakrishna temple at Belur.the entrance of this mandapam comprises ajanta and Ellora cave temples. This rock is approachable only through boat.special significance is, Swamy Vivekananda, an ardent devotee of Kali, to venture across the sea for his long meditation have been promoted here
