I love stuff to do with the evolution of man and whilst I couldn't make the trip to the cradle of mankind I was determined to go here. Beautiful and fascinating.

Part of the 'Crade of Humankind' where the oldest evidence of humans has been found, this was a fascinating adventure into the past. I loved every minute of it.

A wonderful museum, superbly designed and realised and it would be a joy to visit, if not for the difficult and harrowing subject matter. Still, it's a great place, really bold and informative, a great place to take the kids to give them a chance to understand complex issues.

a fascinating place charting the history and study of something close to everyone's heart...money. I particularly enjoyed the early forms of money, when just about anything precious worked. My man couldn't get enough of the bank crimes section!

One of the original gold mines of the area was then built on top of...by a bank! When it was rediscovered in the late 19th century, the entrance was restored and there is now a really interesting museum located on top.
