If you're looking for a relaxing day out then look no further! popular with the locals for canoeing, windsurfing and barbecueing, we took some rugs and some food and enjoyed watching the world go by. there are some lovely walks around and (don't tell the kids!) great cake at the tearooms too.

A lovely change from the city sights, my grandparents and I loved this pretty garden, in particular the rose garden which we were lucky enough to see at the peak of its beauty.

My boyfriend and I loved this trip and it was pretty romantic boating on the lake. The ducks just cry out to be fed and when you're hungry yourself the tea garden is a lovely place for a bite to eat.
