The tallest building in the country boasts some pretty incredible views! It does cost to go up there but I think it's worth it, and you can spend as long as you want up there.

This is a really great daytrip to make to escape the chaos and bustle of the big city. You can just chill out with a picnic or a barbeque or you can get in a game of golf, take a cable car up to the Magalies Mountain, from where the views are quite breath taking. There are also lots of shops and restaurants here too.

The Carlton Centre

The views from the 50th floor here are an excellent (and much cheaper than the helicopter flights!) way to see the city. A must-do when you come to joburg we made a day of it shopping, eating and ice-skating too.

on commisioner st it's very close to the centre and pretty easy to find as it's the tallest building you can see!
